Efficient HomeLab Build - Raspberry Pi Cluster with PoE Swith and DeskPi Rackmate T2 Chassis

SKU: DP-0048

This video showcases the various ways to use the DeskPi RackMate T2. You can power a Raspberry Pi mini-cluster with a centralized power supply module or build a simple Raspberry Pi expansion using the tray, such as adding a 2.5-inch disk and connecting it via a USB adapter. We also used a PoE switch in this setup. In our next experiment, we plan to power the Raspberry Pi using a PoE switch and a PoE HAT module, as well as other Mini PCs.

In this video, we used a 7-inch portable touch display compatible with the Raspberry Pi. The rack mount was created using a 3D-printed component. There's also a ThinkCentre, which is a familiar piece of equipment for those who have been following us.

We believe you might have your own ideas for deployment, and we welcome you to join the discussion, share, and forward our video.
